Meta has partnered with Oakley to launch the Oakley Meta HSTN smart glasses, designed specifically for athletes and active users. These glasses combine Oakley’s iconic sports design with Meta’s advanced AI technology, marking a significant step in wearable tech evolution. The partnership is based on the success of the Ray-Ban smart glasses of Meta, but this time, there are improvements in features that can be used in a high-performance setting.
The Oakley Meta HSTN glasses feature a 12-megapixel camera capable of recording 3K Ultra HD video, a notable upgrade from the 1080p resolution of the Ray-Ban models. This allows users to capture high-quality footage of their activities hands-free. Integrated open-ear speakers deliver audio for music, podcasts, and calls, while a five-microphone array supports voice commands and clear audio recording. The glasses are equipped with Meta AI, enabling users to interact with the environment through voice prompts like “Hey Meta” for real-time assistance, such as answering questions or live streaming.

Available in multiple frame colors, the Oakley Meta HSTN blends style with functionality, appealing to tech-savvy athletes. This launch positions Meta and Oakley as leaders in performance-driven smart eyewear, redefining how athletes engage with technology.
