Schneider Electric and NVIDIA have announced a global partnership to meet the surging demand for sustainable, AI-ready infrastructure, with a focus on advancing Europe’s AI ambitions. Unveiled at NVIDIA GTC Paris, the collaboration combines Schneider Electric’s expertise in sustainable data center solutions with NVIDIA’s leadership in accelerated computing to develop next-generation AI factories across Europe and beyond.
The partnership supports the European Union’s “InvestAI” initiative, which aims to mobilize €200 billion for AI development, and aligns with the European Commission’s “AI Continent Action Plan” to establish at least 13 AI factories and up to five AI Giga factories across the region. “Schneider Electric and NVIDIA are not just partners; our teams are driving advanced R&D, co-developing the infrastructure needed to power the next wave of AI factories globally,” said Olivier Blum, CEO of Schneider Electric.
Also, he highlighted that, “We’ve seen tremendous success in deploying next-generation power and liquid cooling solutions, purpose-built for AI data centers. This strategic partnership bringing together the world leaders in sustainability and accelerated computing allows us to further accelerate this momentum, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible for the AI workloads of tomorrow.”
NVIDIA’s Founder and CEO, Jensen Huang, emphasized the transformative potential of the collaboration, stating, “AI is the defining technology of our time the most transformative force reshaping our world. Together with Schneider Electric, we are building AI factories: the essential infrastructure that brings AI to every company, industry, and society.”

The collaboration is pushing power, cooling, controls, and high-density rack system development optimized for AI workloads. Schneider Electric has unveiled an AI-ready Data Center solution suite that bundles AI-ready modular data center solutions with turnkey AI data center deployment services. Also, a new Schneider Electric rack system, based on the Open Compute Project (OCP), is qualified for the NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 platform and is integrated into the NVIDIA HGX and MGX ecosystems, which is the first entry of Schneider Electric into these platforms.
With this alliance, Schneider Electric and NVIDIA will accelerate new product introductions and reference designs to build AI factories of the future that are sustainable to address the increased computational needs of AI. The project makes the two companies major players in the European AI infrastructure ambitions, driving innovation and sustainability in the worldwide AI ecosystem.
